Originally from Canada, Katherine Ryan is a talented actress and writer/performer that is taking the UK television and stand-up scenes by storm.

The product of a strict Irish father and a glitzy Canadian ‘stage mom’, Katherine Ryan won neither friends nor pageant titles growing up. Try as she might to shed her questionable perspectives and super sparkly nature, she’s not sure we can ever truly escape our childhood indoctrinations.

As well as being a writer-performer Katherine is also a talented actress and played the lead role of George in Victoria Pile’s Channel 4 series CAMPUS. Katherine also appeared regularly throughout the second series of EPISODES as Merc’s Assistant.

Katherine appears as a regular guest on various panel shows including 8 OUT OF 10 CATS ,NEVER MIND THE BUZZCOCKS, QI, HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU and MOCK THE WEEK. In January of this year she performed on LIVE AT THE APOLLO with Jack Whitehall and Rich Hall.

She was voted to the final of BBC One’s LET’S DANCE FOR COMIC RELIEF after a hilarious impersonation of Nicki Minaj performing Starships.

Following a *SOLD OUT* debut UK tour of NATURE’S CANDY, her live show GLAM ROLE MODEL followed in Autumn 2014.
