James Morrison became an overnight sensation in the U.K. with the release of his debut album, 2006’s Undiscovered, which went Platinum in the British Isles (3 times!).

In 2006, his debut single “You Give Me Something” became a hit in Europe, Australia, Japan and Iran peaking in the top five in the UK and claiming the number 1 spot in New Zealand. His debut album, Undiscovered, debuted at the top of the UK Albums Chart. In 2007 Morrison won the Brit Award for Best British Male.

Blessed with a fresh, soulful voice that alternated between smooth and rough tones, Morrison is perhaps best known as a virtuoso trumpeter and brass specialist who is able to play many instruments in different styles.

His 2nd album Songs For You, Truths for Me produced top singles “You Give Me Something”, “You Make It Real” and “Wonderful World” which became major hits in the U.K. Nelly Furtado contributed vocals to the song “Broken Strings,” which was critically acclaimed and was Morrison’s most successful single to date.

The Awakening, Morrison’s third studio outing, arrived in September 2011.

Morrison’s fourth studio album, Higher Than Here, was released on 30 October 2015.

The lead single is “Demons”, which had its official music video premiere on 10 September 2015. The music video for second single “Stay Like This” premiered on 23 October 2015. “I Need You Tonight”, the third single, was released as a music video on 6 March 2016.

In 2018 his debut album Undiscovered, was released on vinyl for the first time.

Morrison’s fifth studio album, You’re Stronger Than You Know, was released on the 8th March 2019. The album has spawned 2 singles so far, “My Love Goes On”, which features Joss Stone, and “Feels Like The First Time”. He has completed tours in South Africa, the UK and Europe in 2019 as well as playing festivals such across the UK and Europe including Glastonbury.
