Charlie Dimmock

Charlie Dimmock is an English gardening expert and presenter and first came to the public’s attention in the BBC gardening series Ground Force

Charlie is one of Britain’s best known and best loved gardeners, specialising in water features.

Having first come to the nation’s attention on BBC1’s incredibly popular Ground Force filmed both here and in the US, Charlie has gone on to present amongst other things, Cheer for Charlie, Charlie and the Duchess, Garden Invaders and Chelsea Flower Show, for the BBC.

And now Charlie Dimmock is back on TV in BBC’s ‘Garden Rescue’. Getting down to it on an exposed garden plot, tipping up a wheelbarrow full of mud, squidging down the earth around a newly planted shrub, swooshing her distinctively wayward hair off her face with the crook of her elbow, throwing back her head in hearty laughter before shooting a theatrical thumbs-up to camera. Good old Charlie!

Her books include Enjoy Your Garden and Container Gardening.

Charlie has regularly performed in pantomime and is undertaking several gardening theatre talks around the country as well as attending many gardening shows this year
