Brian Conley is a legendary comedian, television presenter, and West End star with an impressive career spanning a whopping five decades.

Brian Paul Conley, an English entertainer, has made his mark as an actor, comedian, singer, and television presenter. He is well-known for hosting ‘The Brian Conley Show’ and has presented the Royal Variety Performance eight times. Conley’s diverse talents have made him a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.

Brian Conley is often mistaken for Bradley Walsh. Despite the confusion, they are indeed two distinct individuals. This was humorously highlighted when both were present in the same room, dispelling the myth that they were one person. Their appearance together on ‘The Chase’ where they stood side by side served to confirm their separate identities.

Brian Conley was born on 7 August 1961 in Paddington, London, England, UK. He is an actor and writer, known for Equilibrium (2002), The Grimleys (1999) and Time After Time (1994). He has been married to Anne-Marie Aindow since 4 August 1996. They have two children.

In 1992, he got the the opportunity to front his very own show on ITV, The Brian Conley Show, which at the time became one of Britain’s most-watched entertainment programmes, and where he coined the catchphrase ‘It’s a puppet!

As an actor, Conley has worked in multiple shows like Survivors (1977); Time After Time (1994-95); Busy Buses (2002-2005) and Last of the Summer Wine (2008). He was the presenter for Buy it Now (2018); Brian Conley’s Timeline (2014); Dirty Rotten Cheater (2007); Let Me Entertain You (2006-2007) and many more.

Brian Conley  appeared in the British TV series EastEnders as Tom Cotton, the uncle of Dotty Cotton from May 2021 to December 2023.
